You don’t just wake up and become a butterfly, real growth is a process

Mr Not Right, our resident agony brother and self confessed player

We have all experienced heartbreak at one time or another in our relationship history, maybe some of us are going through it right now.
When a relationship end sand the tears start to dry we look back and dissect the relationship for signs of where it all went wrong. In that moment, we recall the red flags we ignored as we happily skipped into a toxic relationship. Why did we ignore the signs? Why didn’t we take better care of our hearts and self worth and why for some of us, do we go on to repeat the same mistakes again and again.

It got me thinking, what if we were given the opportunity to probe the mind of a heartbreaker? Free to ask him any question we wanted, would the opportunity better prepare us for our next relationship?

What if for our next relationship, we had the opportunity to take the advice from a heart breaker, a cheater himself, a playboy, a bad boy a man like the one who just broke our hearts, would we be interested in hearing what he had to say? Meet Mr Not Right, HerNaturally’s own Agony Brother.

He has all qualities we as women swoon over. A gentleman, a loveable rogue, financially sound, complimentary, charming with dashing good looks and the cherry on the top – he is hilarious. He is also a serial cheater and a liar– the worst kind of man any woman can fall for. The man that doesn’t return texts messages or phone calls not for hours, but days at a time, the man who has his phone off when he is with you –not to give you his full attention but to avoid the 40+ interruptions from other women he’s seeing at the same time. The man who calls all his girlfriends ‘Babe’ so he doesn’t mistakenly use the wrong woman’s name with you, the man who sits and listens to you being your most vulnerable over a few bottles of wine and then makes wild passionate love to you so you wake up all giddy. Come on girls, we have all been there…

The reason for asking Mr Not Right to take on this role for the HerNaturally readership  serves two purposes.
One, knowledge is power and ourreaders need to know the tell tale signs of a dating shark as clearly we are ignoring our own intuition and past experience and two, because Mr Not Right needs to make amends for all the heartbreak and tears that he single handedly created – a giving back exercise, making the universe balanced again.

I know he is the right man for the job because he is the wrong man. Let’s give this a go together and if one of us is spared future heartbreak after taking his advice then I will take that as a win. Oh and something else, HerNaturally are not paying a single penny for the advice he gives – call it karma
